Normal and combination skin needs a cleanser that understands both zones, oily T-zone and drier cheeks. Hydrafine Gentle Gel Cleanser helps remove excess oil and impurities while maintaining the moisture your skin needs for everyday comfort.

Marinematt helps control excess sebum and reduce unwanted shine, while Lamesoft® helps replenish your skin's moisture and support the skin's natural protective barrier. The sulphate free formula lifts away impurities without post-cleanse tightness, leaving your skin feeling clean and comfortable.

  • Green Rooibos – rich in antioxidants, green Rooibos helps protect the skin from environmental stress while soothing and hydrating for a healthy, radiant complexion.
  • Marinematt - derived from marine algae, it controls excess sebum, refines texture and delivers a matte finish without stripping hydration.
  • Lamesoft® – a skin-conditioning complex that helps replenish moisture, support the skin’s natural protective barrier and prevent dryness after cleansing.
How to use
  1. Massage a small amount onto dry or damp skin using gentle circular motions.
  2. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or water infused with green Rooibos, if preferred.
  3. Pat dry with a clean towel.
  4. Follow with your Forever Young Anti-Ageing or Essense Treatment product, night cream and moisturiser best suited to your skin.

Use: Once daily, in the evening.

Evening routine placement:Cleanse (at night only) → Treat → Revitalise → Night cream → Moisturise* → Nourish

Is this cleanser sulphate free?
Yes. Hydrafine Gentle Gel Cleanser is completely free from Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) and uses only mild surfactants that cleanse effectively without stripping your skin.
Will it dry out my skin?
No. Lamesoft® acts as a lipid layer enhancer that conditions your skin barrier and prevents post-cleanse tightness, leaving your skin feeling soft and comfortable.
Can I use this cleanser morning and night?
We recommend cleansing once a day, at night, to avoid barrier damage from over-cleansing. In the morning, simply rinse with lukewarm Rooibos-infused water.
What should I do in the morning if I don't cleanse?
Refresh your skin with water or Rooibos according to your Annique Rooibos routine rather than completing another full cleanse.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. The fragrance free, sulphate free formula is gentle enough for sensitive skin and helps calm irritation with green Rooibos and vitamin E.
Will it help control shine in my T-zone?
Yes. Marinematt absorbs excess sebum and provides immediate mattifying action, helping to reduce unwanted shine especially in oily areas like the forehead, nose and chin.

I tried the Hydrafine Cleanser even though I have matured, dry skin and usually use the Lucid range. I am proud and pleasantly surprised to say that my skin felt soft, comfortable and did not feel tight at all — it just felt great. It is an excellent formula.
