Green Rooibos provides antioxidant, anti-ageing and skin-soothing benefits while helping to protect the skin from environmental stressors. Lactil™ supports moisture retention and the skin barrier, helping to reduce the dryness and discomfort often associated with cleansing.

The fragrance free formula is gentle enough for daily evening use and is suitable for dry, sensitive and mature skin types seeking a comfortable cleansing experience.

  • Green Rooibos – Rich in antioxidants, green Rooibos helps protect the skin from environmental stress while soothing and hydrating for a healthy, radiant complexion.
  • Lactil™ – A skin-identical hydration complex that helps replenish moisture, support the skin barrier and leave skin feeling soft, smooth and refreshed.
  • Allantoin – A soothing skin conditioner that helps calm irritation, support natural skin renewal and improve softness and comfort.
How to use
  1. Massage a small amount onto dry or damp skin using gentle circular motions.
  2. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water or water infused with green Rooibos, if preferred.
  3. Pat dry with a clean towel.
  4. Follow with your Forever Young Anti-Ageing or Essense Treatment product, night cream and moisturiser best suited to your skin.

Use: Once daily in the evening.

Evening routine placement:Cleanse (at night only) → Treat → Revitalise → Night cream → Moisturise* → Nourish

*Optional step for evening routine if skin feels dehydrated

Can I use this cleanser morning and evening?
No. We recommend once-daily evening use to allow your skin's pH to restore overnight. In the morning, a gentle rinse with lukewarm Rooibos-infused water is often enough for most skin types.
What should I do in the morning if I don't cleanse?
Refresh your skin with water or Rooibos according to your Annique Rooibos routine rather than completing another full cleanse.
Is this suitable for very sensitive or reactive skin?
Yes. The fragrance-free formula with green Rooibos and allantoin is gentle enough for even the most reactive skin, calming irritation while maintaining your moisture barrier.
Do I need to remove make-up before using this cleanser?
For heavy or waterproof make-up, it is suggested to pre-cleanse with Essense Rooibos Micellar Water. This crème cleanser then removes remaining impurities and prepares your skin for serums and other skin care.
Will this cleanser dry out my skin?
No. Lactil™ and green Rooibos work together to maintain your skin's natural moisture balance, leaving it soft and comfortable rather than tight or stripped.
Can I use this with other Annique Rooibos products?
Absolutely. Follow with any serum, night cream or moisturiser after cleansing for a complete evening routine that supports your skin barrier. For dehydrated skin we recommend adding the Essense Hyaluronic Acid Serum.
